Currently waiting to board my flight. Come say hello!

  2. Buy some prints, do some good.

My dear high school friend Benjy lost his 13-year-old son to cancer last month.

The boy, Sam, fought long and hard. He was surrounded by friends, by a loving family; he enjoyed visits from sports figures and classmates alike. Through it all his attitude was positive - he intended to beat it and get back to life.

His mother blogged about the illness and the family’s struggle with it. Her writing is full of more wit, charm and grace than could be expected of someone facing such a heavy burden. You can read her last few entriesĀ here.

On his birthday, Sam donated a chunk of his gifts to the Teen Center at Children’s Hospital here in Seattle. He’d spent a fair amount of time there and wanted to help other kids in his situation find the same pleasure he had.

I’ve learned a lot from Sam, from his family and from what they’ve gone through. And in his honor and memory, we’ll donate a portion of every poster sale if you enter the code SAM into the notes / size box at checkout. It’s the least we can do for the perspective sam Own offered us.

  3. Projects lately

I’ve just finished up a big run of these shirts for our good friends over at pop + shorty.

These are really beautiful tees - amazing tri-blend American Apparels.

The other recent cool project was a double poster for a double-record release show: Visqueen and Throw Me The Statue both out out amazing discs and I printed up some cool posters for them. Pictures soonish!
